Description A friend of Franz Marc, German artist August Macke’s style was influenced by Impressionism but of an entirely different aesthetic.  His style, often referred to as Expressionism, represents feelings and moods rather than reproducing objective reality, usually distorting colour and form.  Still Life with a Japanese fan is a really fun canvas to work – good for the beginner looking for a more advanced project, as well as the more experienced hand.  Measures 12″ x 12″ on 14,16 or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas.  Please indicate your mesh preference in the Notes section at Checkout.  If you do not provide a preference, we will send the more popular 14 mesh.  We are happy to select and add appropriate silk or wool threads.  Please contact us if you would like us to add the fibers of your choice.  Available in alternate sizes.
